How to Apply

Wildflower considers applications from families in the Greater Boston area with children between 5 – 18 years of age who have lost one or both parents.

We are sensitive to the special circumstances that often result after the loss of a parent. As part of our application process, we consider numerous factors, including a family’s need for, and interest in, summer programming, interest in being part of the Wildflower community, and financial need.

Families will be asked to provide the name and contact information of a professional reference who can provide supporting information. We will also require a recent 1040 (or equivalent).

Scholarships are provided for summer camps (both day and overnight) and other summer enrichment programs. Children may attend a camp of their own choosing or we can help identify summer programming as needed.

For questions about the application process or how to refer a family, please email our Program Director, Diane Gardner.
