Wildflower will consider applications from families in the Greater Boston area for children of camp age (typically 5 – 18 years of age) who have lost one or both parents. Families may submit applications for multiple children.
A financial need assessment is required with sensitivity to the special financial circumstances after the loss of a parent. A recent 1040 will be requested during the application process and must be submitted prior to acceptance.
Families will also be asked to provide the name and contact information of a reference, such as a therapist, guidance counselor, clergy member, who can provide supporting information.
Scholarships are provided for general summer camps (both day and overnight), athletic and educational camps, and other enrichment programs. Children may attend a camp of their own choosing. Camp placement assistance is available to Wildflower campers on an as needed basis.
